Rules
1. Remain courteous and respectful to other members at all times. Criticism and disagreements are naturally allowed, but for the most part try to remain polite (at least in OOC).
2. Do not godmod. That is, do not dictate the actions of a character besides your own.
3. Avoid excessive swearing, especially on the OOC boards.
4. Remember that Atlantis is a mostly medieval setting, meaning that modern technology does not exist and whose use is therefore forbidden.
5. Discrimination of any sort will not be tolerated.
6. Multiple accounts are forbidden, unless specifically approved by Sayana.
7. You are forbidden to kill another person’s character without their permission (this is considered godmoding).
8. For the most part, try and keep the site around PG-13. This means try to avoid excessively descriptive violence and sexuality. If your characters do have sex, fast-forward.
9. While this is not enforced, you are strongly encouraged to keep your character’s gender the same as your own. This adds depth and reality to the roleplay and limits confusion.
10. Humans are the only race in this roleplay.
11. Except for on the OOC boards, all posts should be a minimum of 200 words (300 for Advanced members). Even on the OOC boards, however, all posts should use correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc.
12. Your username must be the same as your character name.
13. Do not criticize other members or berate them. If you have a problem, PM or e-mail Sayana and I will take care of it.
While we are strict about rules, all situations where rule-breaking has occurred will be looked at on a case-by-case basis. If you are unsure of the meaning of a rule or are uncertain of whether something you wish to do is against the rules, please PM Sayana to ask for details.
